For people who love math, one of the things they find most attractive is that “math has right answers”. Unfortunately, this is exactly the reason that most people don’t like math. Math can be unforgiving and that can engender feelings of failure when one gets the wrong answer. Once you “fail”, you have two choices, persevere or give up. People who like math try again, those that don’t tend to give up quickly.
