I was just looking through our local community center camp guide and noticed that they offer a half day robotics camp for kids. It’s less than three hours a day for a week and costs $292. That’s 50% more than Math Plus Academy camps!
Then I noticed this: “4 students share one robot”. Can you imagine your child spending 50-75% of their time watching someone else build and program their robot? How frustrating would that be? Math Plus Academy robotics camps have only two students working together. They get a computer and a robot so both team members are ALWAYS engaged and never waiting for a turn. In addition, our camps are limited to 8 students total so every child can get the assistance they need whenever they need it.
At the community center, the camps are offered by a third party vendor based in another state. Who do you talk to if you have a problem or a question? How qualified are their teachers?
Math Plus Academy is locally owned and operated. We are here year-round so we won’t disappear once summer is over. We are accountable. You know where to find us and we like it that way!
Be careful when picking your summer camps this year. There are a lot of camps that over-charge and under-deliver.
