LEGO Engineering

Students will build and explore the many creative possibilities of engineering with the LEGO® system.

What will your child learn in LEGO engineering?

They will learn about simple machines like gears, pulleys, levers and inclined planes.
They will learn about experimentation and the scientific method.
They will learn to measure, estimate and make educated guesses.
They will test their conjectures and form new ideas – the key to the engineering process – build, test and revise.

Projects include building a motorized race car, a pendulum driven clock (that tells time in exact seconds!), windmills and wind powered “land yachts”.
