It’s a sporting event for the mind!
LEGO Robotics combines LEGO building, computer programming, design, team-work, and problem-solving skills in a fun and challenging environment.
LEGO Robotics gives kids as young as 4th grade the opportunity to explore engineering, math and science. The process of creating autonomous machines that complete useful tasks is what makes LEGO robotics so much fun!

Experience with LEGO Robotics teaches many important skills.
- Learn how to break a complex problem into small manageable parts
- Organize simple tasks to create more complex behaviors
- Evaluate results and fix bugs
- Build the critical thinking skills that children need to be successful in any endeavor

Our expert teachers will guide students as they build and test their LEGO robots and learn valuable engineering principles along the way. Robotics is open to students from 4th-8th grade.
We offer three levels of robotics:
Robotics 1 – focuses on teaching students how to build and program simple robots. They learn about each of the 5 sensors in the process of building different robots. Students work in pairs.
Robotics 2 – Features more advanced challenges where the students develop their understanding of the engineering process – design, build, test, and revise. Students work in pairs.
Robotics Club – An independent study class for kids that absolutely love robotics. They can choose from a “catalog” of projects and then they are set loose to develop their own unique solutions. This is a unique opportunity that isn’t offered anywhere else.
Offered Saturdays from Noon to 1:30 year-round in Powell
FIRST LEGO League – We have our own FLL team in the fall. Students are selected from the those who have taken our courses. FLL is an intense and rewarding competition.
